Step up to support our at risk youth
We are looking to provide clinical interventions (assessment, risk assessment, treatment, consultation liaison, discharge planning etc) to Youth aged 13 – 24 years, presented with a moderate to severe alcohol and other drug issues and/or mental health difficulties. This is a fixed term, full-time Monday to Friday role.
We therefore need a qualified Health Professional (Nurse, OT, Social Worker) to undertake this role which will include consultation and advice to external agencies, including residential/detention facilities, regarding alcohol and other drug conditions, mental health status, risk assessment and case management, including treatment recommendations.
In return you would ensure greater opportunities for improved health outcomes for at risk youth, including opportunities to reverse progression toward long term experience of alcohol and other drug problems and/or mental health disorders.
What could be more professionally rewarding?
- Current APC
- Current drivers licence
- Experience working to support youth (particularly those experiencing mental health and/or addiction issues)
- Understanding of the Strengths Recovery Model
